John Leahy asked and I had some time tonight to take photos of all of the star wars figs (70mm hasbro unleashed battlepacks and some applause PVC) in my collection.

There are some figures that I am modifying (like some sandtroopers and some tricerytops to serve as dewbacks and some Kyshyyk imperial scouts to be painted in white and black and ride on speed bikes)

Well, feast your eyes.

An impressive collection of 70mm prepaints.

I have a small Unleashed Tusken warband, but *that's* how to do a Tusken army.

Well done!

You're gonna need some hella big AT-ATs to assault Hoth on that scale.

And do you really need that many Mon Calamari just to stand there and yell "It's a trap?"

…and, or pilots just standing around, holding their helmets…..

Truly uninspired sculpting, sadly.

I picked up the Mon Calamari and pilots for a planned scenario where the imperials are trying to locate a hidden rebel base. Nothing better than to have a bunch of Mon Calamari and pilots standing around at a briefing. and since I got them for only 50 cents apiece, why not? I agree the sculpts are lacking dynamisim, but they will suffice. (we do have to use a little imigination after all)

As for the Hoth scenario-- a few smaller ones come to mind. The pilot and snowspeeder could be crashed and have to eveade snowtrooper capture. Or rebels have to avoid probe droid detection. Or Imperials have to assault a small rebel outpost. Or the snowspeeder has to try to destroy the probe droids. The possibilites are endless.

…or the probe droids are really attack/assault droids, and need to be eliminated, or defended against.

I imagine with a bit of work, and some repainting, that the pilots could be repositioned to be a bit more useful.
