Hey all! Just thought I would mention that I've started work on my first ever 25mm AWI troops, and even wrote a very quick review of Scott M's book "Human Interest Stories from Antietam." Hope folks can come give it a look, and I'll have more up at the House of War soon
I've got a project I've been working on that I'll post in the next week or two. link |

A very good review, I think I'll have to pick up that book. I'm also looking forward to seeing the finished AWI figs |

Glad you enjoyed! The book was definately an enjoyable read; very simple but very good. The AWI guys will be done today, I think, but then I have to make the diorama base for them
When are you posting up your new table? |

Looking forward to both of you guys' updates, especially the Connecticut troops. Was thinking about doing some myself in the near future and I always like to look at others' work for inspiration. I agree about white being an unforgiving undercoat. I've tried it and now use either black or brown depending on what I want the finished troops to look like. |

Nice work, Lord A. The figures are Eureka's ragged continentals. Giles |

Ahhh! Eureka! Thanks Giles
I couldn't remember. BTW, do you use any Eureka in your AWI units? |

My pleasure, Scott; I enjoyed your book very much
it was great inspiration to keep painting:) Anyway, I updated just recently with the completed AWI diorama; "The Grassy Lane," of some Continentals defending their homeland. The photos, regrettably, do not do it justice! link One post down!:) |
