Howdy y'all! I am now in the process of constructing my Flames of War army based on the above. I need some referenses, especially photos and/or illustrations, for vehicle markings and infantry insignia. Are their any books or online sources available on this subject I also understand the Poles based their organization upon the British Army so if these would be more available let me know. As always thanks in advance and Salut y'all! Bruce the Texas Grognard |

British organisation. There was a war history of the division published after the war. Back in the seventies I was able to read a copy obtained via my local library from a UK Polish library over her in the UK. Google "1st Polish Armoured division". link |

I've read two books about the 1st Polish Armoured ops in Normandy after my last Summer visit to Trun -Chambois area and the 'Mace' (both are written in French, so I'd suppose a reference to them is useless) Some great reading and fascinating stories ! |
