Can anyone recommend a good, high quality 28mm trench system for 28mm WWI games? |

Has anyone seen or used the Pegasus system? |

Try the ones by armorcast (US based) and ironclad games (UK based). Oh, and there is one by Ziterdes (Germany). |

Amera has some vac-formed trench sections, they are cheap but look nice with a little work. |

Wargames sell a 20mm trench system designed by Acheson Creations which has a 28mm trench system link |

Make your own from foam insulation boards. Only way to get down into the surface. |

What system are you using it for? |

Warlord I am thinking about Great War. |

Grand Manner has a beautiful trench set. expensive but worth every penny. It's in his WWII section and he has also some separate bunkers and such in the WWI range. link |

Most of the ones I have seen including Ironclad and Grand Manner aren't deep enough, At least the Ironclad one is truly modular and you can make really long trenches but it seems a bit small for real 28mm figures.. |

I second the foam insulation boards in addition to making your own bunkers out of herculite II. Can't beat building it and designing it yourself! |

That's right! I completely forgot about Ironclad! |

I have the Pegasus trenches and they are hands down the best. ;) |

The Pegasus trenches look awesome. I wish they weren't prepainted, but apparently that is the only way to get them

I am building my own – cuts down on the $, plus i am having a lot of fun doing so. |

Grand Manner are meant to be producing a WW1 trench system, similar to their existing WW2 one, they already have a few bits and pieces on their web site |

Why not use the ones from Acheson Designs? They have really nice resin trench sections. And you can set them up in avariety of ways, because they are basically modular. |

Who makes the Pegasus trenches? Can't see them in the manufacturers list on TMP. |

Pegasus Models – they are carried in the US by Michigan Toy. Pegasus also makes outstanding buildings for 40k

After a flick through Wargames Soldiers and Strategy in WH Smith I noticed some ready made trenches that slot into foam board (or any other cut out). Only thing is, I can't remember the name of the company. I think it began with a T. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Kallistra make a modular-type trench system? They are the ones featured in the ads for Scarab miniatures. They look very nice. I have several of the Acheson Creations trench pieces. They are wonderful, and Craig is a great guy to talk to. GregS |
