I acquired a copy of The Crusades by Yli Remo Vallejo. WOW!! The pictures are worth a thousand words. The Illustrations are each works of art! Bought it from On Military Matters.

I own a copy myself. It's a nice sourcebook for anyone interested in the period. As sneakgun pointed out, the illustrations alone are worth the price.

They look really good. I hope to see them "in the flesh" someday. I saw the "True Cross" being captured at Hattin, if I am not mistaken….
