Greetings!

Though it took longer than expected, the ODGW website, odgw.com, is live once again, and running faster and smoother than ever before. Necessary upgrades have been made to bring its software current, and more improvements to its looks and usefulness are on the way.

Do not forget that Mein Panzer 2, the second edition of our WWII armor skirmish rules, is available and free to all purchasers of the first edition. ODGW supports its rules like no other company, never charging for further editions of any of its games. Stop by and take advantage of all that registered users of MP2 have coming to them.

Cheers,

CinC

There is a comma in the above link, so use this one:

odgw.com

You are right. Don't know how that slipped in. Thanks.

He put the comma in out of sheer generosity!

Don't forget to check out the Italian ship logs. I put a lot of research into those and have provided data that is very hard to find.

Looks like it's back down again.

Doesn't appear down now. Got through without any problem.

I just tried again, using the link above. I then did a Google search and tried all the links that might lead to the site. Each time I get "the website might be experiencing difficulties….".

Try this link:

odgw.com

jefferysl07 Dec 2008 9:24 a.m. PST

No luck. I've even added odgw to my list of trusted websites and enabled cookies specifically to odgw. I checked firewalls…I have no problems with any other websites. I don't know why I can't get through.

Charlie 1207 Dec 2008 1:18 p.m. PST

Hmmmmm… Well, I'm stumped. I both clicked on the link and copy/pasted the url and got through without problems. Might be an ISP problem (but what and how, I can't say). You might want to send an email to the link below. They should be able to help sort out the problem for you. Good luck! (Computers can be SO much fun…)

Hard to fathom the problem. We have had a steady stream of visitors. I clicked on the link and was taken to the website. Not sure if it is a specific computer problem or an ISP-related one, or both.

If you can send some details of what you have been experiencing and seeing to me at cinc@odgw.con, we can have our computer guys check it out for you. Thanks!

Cheers,

CinC

Well, I try back every couple of days and no luck. I own Mein Panzer and badly want the update, as I think the rules are great. But it's not like this is the first time you've had problems. I shouldn't have to spend an hour trying to figure out why I can reach every other site on the web, but not yours.

Got a nice personal e-mail fron CinC offering to have a tech support person call to help with the problem and provide a disk in the meantime. I'm very impressed, thanks guys!

Well, I got a new computer for Xmas. Figured I'd try to get ODGW online. Nope. Tried my wife's computer. Nope. I tried my computer at work, I get on just fine! I must admit that I'm baffled by this…..

It's could be your service provider – did you check with them? I just saw this topic and checked – no problem here with Firefix and IE.

However, why they have the main page of their site as an secure https is beyond me. If the ISP is not the problem, then the https set up and how that interacts with your set up would be the next thing to explore. Or possibly the combo of ISP and a secure page?

No Joy for me either at work or at home. The page comes up blank. On IE it throws an "unable to load page" error.

I have added both odgw.net and com to my trusted sites and enabled scripts (shudder)still no joy. Your is the only site I can not access.
