from 28mm (Stan Johansen's sculpts of FGU's pre-GW Space Marines ) and 25mm (GZG) to 15mm I was wondering I could find substitute figures for the FGU derived alien races. Hissss-!st – lizards with a booming population growth fetish Klackons – Large Crabs with hunger management issues Blarads – Ursinoids that wuld give a wookie a thumping in HTH but really, really, really like scrambler type weapons Rauwoofs – canines highly favoring sneak suits (and ambushes) Whistlers – avians who are masters at jump belt tactics – who really needs wings when you have a blaster and a jump belt? Mekpurrs – Felines who use a lot of Robots and Androids to fill in the line positions Mertuns – Octopods in walking armored eggs Bugs – well, actually Bugs are easy, these just need to be "Horse" sized bugs slightly easier to find substitutes for: Ranan Horde (Soldiers as skinny humanoid expendables) Irsol Confederacy (Humanoids who basically spend so much time in space that Power Armor like uniforms are a necessity to operate in earth type gravity with reasonable movement) Gracias, Glenn |

Take a look at 15mm.co.uk because they make the old Tabletop Minis and that covers most of what you want, with the proviso that you can look elsewhere for the Klakons. They have Ursinoids and reptilians that I know for sure, while some of the other races will do in a pinch I suspect. |

Oh, and if you find some Mertuns in 15mm, let me know . . . Might work as large Cephaloids in 6mm. |

GZG does a few Starship Troopers-style bugs. Can't recall if they do them in 15mm too, though, but believe so. If not, just assume they are largish bugs, on steroids – they should be large, you know, for a more frightening effect. |

Would love to see someone do some crabs, like fiddler-crabs, with one large claw. They would be superb for melee combat, and boarding actions on vessels. |

IIRC GZG does 25mm and 6mm bugs only. Gracias, Glenn Edit: Yep, no 15mm, but valid point about the scale realtionship. |

Peter Pig Phuggs might work for Klakons |

Tabletop Minis are interesting. Turns out I have a small set of the cat (?) like Centaurs – well, they look it to me – already. Is there a place where I can see what each "X-Tee species" are supposed to be in human terms. Neat names and I could guess but if the actual " terran type" each alien repesented was spelled out I would be less unsure. Gracias, Glenn |

link 15mm.co.uk/CE1.htm 15mm.co.uk/CE2.htm Are these the same thing? I don't have any CE3
I also have some feline two legged guys: 15mm.co.uk/MR1.htm 15mm.co.uk/MR2.htm Bought painted (different then the web site pics) ones for a project/to see how they compared but never played in a game. I'm in the USA so if you want them contact warbeads AT yahoo DOT com and we can work something out I'm sure. Twelve figs that I've never used in a game. Sad, really

I have Blarads, Rauwoofs, a few Mekpurrs (with robots,) some Whistlers, and a pair of loose Irsol to sell off yet. And some really old "swamp thing looking" figures that may be Grenadier figs. Maybe next week after Thanksgiving since I'll want to post pictures
