I've never seen the M274 in anything but OD, so VMC 887 Brown Violet. Mules come in as many colors as horses: link Allen |

They do have light muzzles instead of dark ones. I found that made my Askari mules look the part. |

Regardless of the color used, I would make sure that they were dingy in shading. |
