Hi,

I want to do a pirate crew for east africa (early 18th C.)
As I have a lot of foundry darkest africa Zanzibaris and Ruga-Ruga I would like to use them together with foundry pirates.
Some Zanzibaris have too modern weapons, but do you think the one withe muskets and the Ruga-Ruga are accurate enough for that time period?

You actually pay attention to the weapon? If the figure looks good, I tend to ignore the firearm.
At least in Pirate games.

I would think that early 1700s East African pirates would have more "melee" weapons than firearms, but what you have should work fine. Taking the current Somalian pirates back in time, are we? grin

If you have the Arab and Baluchi matchlockmen from the Zanzibari range, they have… is it better to say "non-anachronistic", or just "achronistic"?

Anyway, they have period weapons, and are outfitted with plenty of melee doohickies, too.
