Has anyone put together or played a modern day Dungeon Crawl? Basicly you take your team/character through a corporate office or military complex to steal secrets, destroy an installation or kidnappe a scientist. Space Hulk/Legions of steel board pieces would make a great underground complex. Building an office complex on a 3x3 would be very cool. Or even a multiple 2x2 as 1st,2nd and 3rd floors making your way up then out. Something like this would probably play well using a reation based system like 5150/CR2 using custom reations that would reflect the scenerio. like disabling the alarm, breaking into the computer, sneaking up on a someone from behind, using silencers to shoot, etc
Hey THW! Are you Listening? Have you guys ever thought about publishing Just Reation tables to cover a particular subject matter using 5150/CR2 ?? 8) |

The 5150 Infestation book has some of this, as does FNG:Unconventional Warfare. More stuff is in the pipes for "modern" and "ultra modern", as well as 5150. We prefer to release the reaction tables as part of a whole, so you can have the whole picture, but who knows what will come as "freebies" in the In-Sight fanzine

I know a guy who has run several of this type of game using his own home grown (very simple) rules. Played in one in the summer – great fun. We were on an airship that had kidnapped the Prime Minister

There's a WW2 board game where players are Allied covert operators infiltrating a German HQ. It looks pretty cool. Wish I could remember the name (although I'm sure someone in TMP land can help me). |

Used Dogs of War by Devil Dog Design to do a modern day dungeon crawl. You have activiation points, so moving and shooting was easily controlled. Actually ran three different games @ HCON one year, using a cave system. Worked out well, and people had fun. |

5150 Book 2 will cover this almost exactly like you're talking about. Out next year. |
