I'm wondering if there are any stores there still carrying them. There used to be a model train shop that did
Thanks!

Not sure if there still are any – there's a Hobbytown in Auburn that carries 1/72 plastics, but it's about 45-60 minutes away…

IVAN DBA, there is a big DBA player in Montgomery. gray Stirckland. He works part time at the Visions gaming store.

As Scott said the Hobbytown in Auburn may be the closest with plastic kits. I have been told that a HobbyTown franchise was assigned to the Montgomery area several years ago but they never acted on the option.

One place that I have seen a few plastic kits is at Hobby Lobby. You might give them a call. Many of the Toys R Us reorganized a few years ago and dropped a lot of the kits but you might want to call them as well.

Generally, HobbyLobby has some good models. Their 1/72 figure offerings are limited, but may be available cheap.

If you make the trip to Birmingham, we have a number of good stores. Homewood Toys and Hobbies, The Model Box, and Spivey's Hobbies (if its still open) all carry a good selection.
