Ok, I am in the Sugar Land area (Just Outside of SW Houston), and I miss having access to a local gaming scene. There is a GW Store nearby if I need my 40K Fix. But I would like to play other games (I.E, Stargrunt II, Warmachine' Classic Battletech, Flames of War and so on) Anybody know of anything nearby or any clubs looking for a new member. I dropped out of the gaming scene for a few years, but now I am back.

If this is the wrong forum to post, I am sorry, and I'll move it to another.

I live in Austin, not Houston, but there is a historicals centric FLGS although its in North Houston somewhere and only open on weekends as far as I know. Its called LittleWars and has a web site littlewars.net

Rice University has a pretty active gaming club (they run a convention called Owlcon every February) There is at least one decent size private club that rents its own gaming space but I don't know much about out other than it exists (or at least it did a few months ago)

Thanks for listing those places, but alas…they are a little bit out of my range right at the moment. I was hoping for something a little closer. Thank for the responses though.
