The best thing in Games Workshop's 2009 catalogue: bases are once again being sold in packs of a single size (including the much-wanted 25mm round unslotted base) rather than only in assortments. |

If that reaches the retailers, it's a good thing. |

I wondered how long it would take. |

It only took until they figured out they could quintuple the price. Last time I got 25mm bases they came 54 to a pack for about $5. USD Now they're $4.50 USD for a pack of ten 25mm bases or three 60mm bases. Wow! |

The prices are too high, who has an alternative? I went searching and couldnt find anything comparable. I guess its ok if you dont us many but I buy in bulk. |

em4 Miniatures. Excellent service, cheap as chips
or plastic bases |

second for EM4, only way to go for bases |

Does EM4 bases exactly match GW's? If so, that's great. For someone like me who likes to restore old GW miniatures, it's important to have a steady supply of these old bases around. |

$4.50 USD for only 10? Is that right? |
| Steve Flanagan | 20 Nov 2008 9:54 a.m. PST |
Alas, em-4 doesn't do an unslotted 25mm round plinth-type base, or didn't last time I checked. Nor does anyone else. There are threads asking about them on this board every few months. Wouldn't it be nice if someone started making them? |

If em-4 start making unslotted 25mm round bases. I will buy a lot of them. |

I will check out em-4, as long as the shipping charge isnt too high. Frankly I would use Litko bases for everything but my customers are used to the plastic standard bases most people use. Thanks. |
