Does anybody know if there is a company who makes Segways in 28mm? Its for a game idea that I have. I know I could kitbash one, but

Is this a GOB scenario? Oh, Come on!!! :P |

Whats a GOB? No. I was thinking of a zombie attack in a mall using the new World Works paper terrain. Its like all the malls have segways now. Heck, its even uses as a joke on the daily newspaper strip "Drabble". His dad uses one as a mall cop
Or just for laughs, I was also thinking to use them as an Imperial Guard 'mount' for the rough riders in my 40k game. Now that would turn heads. And since when did something trademarked stop people from making minis there John? haahahahah! |

Got all 3 seasons on DVD. What a great show. I *really* liked the episode in which GOB kept inflating the cost of his suit. "COME ON!" :) Adam Savage on Mythbusters scoots around on a Segway, too. Kitbashing is probably your best bet, though. I wonder if Segway does keychains or other souvenirs that could be adapted? |

2 of the smallest wooden wheels from the craft store 'wood turning' section, a square figure base for the base, and a few pieces of plastic sprue for the handle bars. |

Yeah, I think the hardest part of the project would be the riders, if you want them actually riding the Segways. I've ridden one (demo at work), and it's not a common position for a miniature – standing up straight, feet together, leaning slightly forward. Those Chinese are posed even weirder, scrunched down and holding their weapons like toys. I think I'd scratchbuild the Segways but have the riders dismounted. A zombie on a Segway would be pretty cool, though. :) |
