That little shop in Munchkin land with the Red roof sells toy soldiers in Oz. They may have them.

We ship to Oz pretty much everyday.

Our webstore will overcalculate the shipping. We adjust that on shipping.

We carry GWM, Renegade and Brigade Games WWI minis.

Hi Tom,

I've been dealing with Lon at Brigade Games for many years now. The service and postage to Australia is very good. Many an Aussie do buy from Lon and can attest to his good service.

If you are still looking at OZ then you may need to look at Tin Soldier in Sydney who carry a number of ranges, but I'm not sure which.

Please consider the former for your WW1 interests.

Cheers,

Helen

Tom, I bought my Renegade and GWM 1918 Brits from Tin Soldier in Sydney, they've got a solid selection from both those manufacturers and a steady supply at their warehouse. These two ranges work very well together, but not so well with OG IMHO.

They're also saying they'll get the Woodbine Design Anzacs and Turks. I've spent a fair bit of time drooling over the Brigade Miniatures site and while I have no experience of their service they come highly reccomended and they have a fantastic range.

I am one of those Aussies that can attest to the great service from Lon at Brigade Games.

I didnt know Tin Soldier sold any GWM… nothing on the web site to indicate they do, so i gather you would have to send an email to them.

I did know about Tin Soldier either. I have been ordering in GWM from the UK. But I will go with the Aussie source now. It pays to advertise Tin Soldier.

Thankyou All , i will contact Tin Soldier , i was looking for a local supplier , failing that i will go through Brigade Games they also sound like the right people . sincerley THANKYOU ALL

**Iceaxe , thanks mate , i knew about the WW1 Middle East from Eureka , i painted the shop front diplay pieces in the cabinet , they are very good figures for that conflict .

Tin soldier have a totally crap approach to the web

thabear19 Nov 2008 10:14 p.m. PST

I found Tin Soldier to be very helpful and very informative on the phone and i pointed out to them that these items were missing from thier site and perhaps costing them sales of same , the reply was neither positive or negative.
In any case it has proven to be cheaper to order the items from overseas , if the $$ difference was slightly more to get them locally i would have , but it was too much of a difference to not have an effect on my decision .

Cheers Tom
