Hello,

before tackling with the more complicate camo of modern Russian tanks, I starting up a Soviet force for Afghanistan.

What base color would be the most appropriate for 1979-88?

-"Russian" green
-brown?
-other?…

If brown, any suggestion in Vallejo?

thanks a lot!

I use the Tamiya spray cans but you can't get em anymore here in the UK. I think the colour was IJA green?

More rusted than charred these days, when you run across one.

Mostly Russian green with some sand and/or brown camo stripes.
