Played a Field of Glory game against a friend today. Sorry no photos, as battery charger for camera has gone missing. Basically I marched across the field and killed 6 Battle Groups losing only one stand of spearmen. I only failed one cohesion test, and bolstered the next turn. My opponent and I are usually pretty evenly matched, but I had no seriously bad dice rolls. As this is my first AAR, I will try to take notes next time, and see about getting a new charger. Yeah, well… This was the first time I wasn't able to avoid your pikes. They munched my hoplites. Plus, I should have kept those two cavalry groups over against your right flank to help harass (and avoid a direct clash with) your lancers. That also would have allowed me to bring up my heavy impact foot to join the main battle. Great game though! |
