Hi, These are a deviation from "the norm" because they aren't for a client but these litte s are all for me ;-) This is a playtest force to be expanded when time permits. link BR, iAugustus |

Grrrr! Just as I'd talked myself into painting myself some 10mm figures in a simple way with a gloss coat you remind me how nice 10mm looks when matt and highlighted. Very nice work. Those Langton minis look great. Are they really 10mm or a bit bigger? Neil reinforcementsbypost.com games2trains.com |

I think those may be the nicest 10mm figs I've ever seen, mind you I don't play 10's or see many, but those are sweet! Great job! Peter |

Those are excellent. And the bases are really great. I've just been putting flock on my bases. It didn't occur to me that so much could be done with the bases to make them look better. I think I have a lot to learn about painting in the 10mm scale, especially making highlights brighter and more drastic. |

They look superb. What size bases have you used? |

Your painting style really brings those 10mm figures to life! |

Excellent figures, the Starfort give a more ragged approach than the GHQ which are more "well dressed"; they work well together. BOB |

AS: Yes, I think strong highlights bring small scales to life. Go and be bold :-) Hybrid: The figues are mounted on thin 15x15mm squares. The small bases are then combined using self-adhesive steel paper into suitable moving blocks and to allow easy tranportation in boxes lined with magnetic sheet. This way they are also very flexible regards "rebasing". Chortle: Starforts sits quite well with very slender GHQs (the most slender of all 10mm?) They are more robust and have bigger heads. Mr TenWolde of 10mmworld.com showed me wide range of different makes and Starforts aren't among the bigger ones. iAugustus |

BTW 10mmworld.com has comparison shots for GHQ vs Langton up. Just click to see GHQs or Langstons to find the comparison photos. iAugustus |
