Here is the heavy equipment for the Israeli infantry.

I will put the command bases online a bit later.

Starting now modern Russians (before Hezbollah and Syrian…)

When I first looked at the pictures, I thought these were 10mm or 15mm. I didn't realize until I when back to the beginning of the October archive that these were 1/285! You did an awesome job on them!

Another great job Helmet! Very inspiring. Are the infantry slightly oversized next to the vehicles? Is that just a stylistic choice by the designer in micro armour to make the figures look better? Whatever it is your stuff looks awesome. In a few days some 1/300 armor should be arriving in the mail for me. Me and a friend are breaking into smaller scales and your blog has been a great inspiration.

Hi Gibbon, yes, the infantry is slightly oversized. They look better in my opinion as if they were really to scale, they would look mostly like thin wire…

In any case, I am happy to inspire a bit. I'm inspired as well sometimes by other painters :-)

and remember: if you have to purchase models from the over- inflated-shipping-cost Company, buy from the gamer friendly retailers.

Really nice. Still hoping for some explanation of how you terrain the bases.

Hi Bede,

I have answered your question in the previous post:

hello Bede,

there is nothing extra-ordinary really. I just glue dirt flock on the bases with dark brown colored PVA, paint dark spots, add grass flock and stones for the park. Paint and dry brush the stones. I wanted a brownish look for the stone, therefore I covered them with GW' Sepia ink.

Add here and there silflor flowers or bushes, and that's it.

I hope it helps.
