Nice effort by Dan Beattie!! This is a concise and well written summary / overview of the Battle of Brandy Station.

Got it yesterday and started reading this morning. Really enjoying it and it is a joy to read. It's one of those books that really makes me want to get my figures on the table and knocking seven bells out of each other.

The book can be purchased from amazon.com at link

If you enjoy the book, why not also log on to the Civil War Preservation Trust web site and donate a few dollars for the purchase of battlefield acreage. In one of the recent proposals, the organization can leverage each dollar received by a factor of 6 times. So each dollar donated equals six dollars of actual funds that CWPT can use to purchase ACW battle field acreage.

Congratulations Dan! I'm waiting for my copy to arrive, but I know it will be worth the wait. Maybe I can get you to autograph it!

Thank you Scott, if it has your recommendation I'll buy it as soon as it's available at my local library.

Might want to try the bookstore instead, Palafox. grin
