I suppose I should start a new topic for this, but I'll ask it here, anyway. I drove past the National Guard armoury in Lafayette, Louisiana, a couple months ago, and saw a sign in front that said something about the Tigers. Do units of the Louisiana National Guard claim descent from the Louisiana Tigers of the American Civil War?
