As promised I have taken photographs of the new range of 1:3000 WW2 convoy vessels from North Head Miniatures in New Zealand. These are being produced to compliment my convoy rules due for release next year. link Once again I am not sure that my painting skills were able to match the superb detail of these models. The Jervis Bay and the catapult Merchant ship are particularly outstanding. There is also an auxiliary AA ship
.HMS Pozarica, and many of the smaller warship types so important during the battle of the Atlantic. Apart from painting them, I have not added any detail. If you look closely you will see lots of deck detail and even port holes on some ships. Even life rafts on a couple. I have a huge collection of 1:3000 from just about every maker I can find, and its pretty hard to beat the detail of these. |

They look very nice Mal. I look forward to seeing these figures released by North Head Miniatures, and to see what your rules are like too. |
