major shows will have vendors carrying them in huge bins to pick thru @ about $1/mech. ymmv but try Origins and Gencon for starters. |

link These work out to @ $1 USD per mech There are a number of ebay stores that will sell cheap singles too. |

You might try Troll and Toad. link Or Strikezone link However as Raven says the best deals are at the conventions in the flea markets, and the next best would be e-bay. |

geudens, They are approximately 10mm based on the infantry figures. The vehicles and infantry are fairly well scaled to each other. In the early sets especially, the mechs really seemed to ignore scale it varied based on the sculpter not the class of the mech. (i.e. medium mechs were the size of assault mechs). This got better in the later releases, but this only matters if you use the figures for what they are by name and class. If you are applying them to another system it doesn't really matter since they can be anything you want. The important thing is that the mechs, infantry, VTOLS and vehicles all work pretty well on the tabletop. |

Some of the bigger battle armour types might be pushing towards 15mm, but the regular infantry certainly aren't; they're definitely 10mm territory. |

This shows some of the "power armor" next to 15mm figs; they can pass for 15mm. The regular infantry is definitely 10mm. Sorry the shot is so dark. link |

Yes, I am basing the 10mm comment on the regular infantry, battle armour is slightly taller. |

Hey how hard are these guys to take off there basses, the vechicles in particular look difficult, also can u strip the paint w/o melting the plastic or just have to overpaint them? |
| Farstar | 14 Oct 2008 1:16 p.m. PST |
Best to just paint over them. As for popping them off their bases, being Clix, the best assist you can get for this is your freezer. A good freeze will turn the glue very brittle, and will allow most of them to come off with just a little additional coaxing. |

hmm never thought of that thanx ill give it a try! |
| Farstar | 16 Oct 2008 1:53 p.m. PST |
No problem. It's apparently a well known trick in the Clix community, but since the MW Clix crowd don't have a lot of cross-over with Hero/Halo/Horror Clix players or the original Mage Knight crowd
Just be careful not to give the rest of the figure any sharp shocks, or it may not be just the basing glue that pops. |

Please define "A bunch of them". I have quite a bit of them on hand collecting dust from a combined collection of mine, my two sons and a friend from when we played. If it is not a violation of this forum's rules we could work something to supply you with them and get them out of my house. Drop me a line here of at <dragonstoo@charter.net> . |
