Who makes really good plastic Teutonic Knights and Medevil Russians? I guess this would be in 1/72 scale or 20mm |

In 1/72 you would probably be best of with Zvezda – not that there would be too much choice. Griefbringer |

I have the Italeri Teutonic Knights (1/72) and they really are very good. |

Zvezda pretty much owns the Northern Crusades in plastic. I believe the Italeris are just repackaged Zvezda sculpts. |

I would use the Zvezda Livonian knights in preference to the Zvezda/Italeri Teutonic Knights (co-production). They are more robust and offer a better range of figures. By all means mix in a few of the latter to give variety. I'd also use some Strelets for the sargeants, etc. You can find pictures of my plastic Teutonics on my blog under medievals Will willwarweb.blogspot.com |

Unless it's important that the figures be plastic, note should also be made of Valdemar Miniatures' metal and resin figures for the Baltic Crusades, which are designed to and do make very good accent pieces for mostly Zvezda armies: link |
