They are gorgeous ! But next time, when you photograph figures as an advertisment, get somebody who cares to straighten the weapons before shooting them. Only takes a few moments, and then collectors like me don't grit their teeth when viewing the very nice paint work. Chick |

They are gorgeous figures. I can't believe you are unlucky enough to have five figures with the bayonet bent in exactly the same way. I must congratulate you on the consistency of the painting. For example, look at the freehand work on the trousers and tunic in the centre photo. Each figure is on the same angle with exactly the same freehand, no variation at all in any of the figures. In the LH photo look at the shields and the eyes of each figure – again exactly the same. Please let us know the secret to the unbelievable uniformity you have achieved. Photoshop perhaps? |

Gorgeous looking cavalry figures. |

These are great. I do not see any bent bayonets, were some pics removed? I have a large collection of Old Glory Ottomans awaiting to be sent so now I do not need to get painting details together, as you have all the info you need. Paintingploddy, you imply that the foot figures are photo duplicates and not originals? So what. One of these must be an original. Moreover, I can imagine painters of the skill on the Fernando staff could duplicate figures. In any event, the cavalry are certainly unique. |

This is nothing more than an ad. If there are another 599 of this standard why use such a cheap trick? |

I'll have some figures back from Fernando Enterprise in about 2 weeks. I'll upload some pictures of their work to mu BLOG then. Mainly 18mm AB Napoleonics painted to "Collector" standard, but I'll also upload some 15mm and 28mm "Showcase" quality Ancients they did for me some time ago. The stuff I've had previously has been very nice work. I hope the AB Miniatures Napoleonics are in the same "ball park". Cheers trailape.blogspot.com |

Why the ugly comments about the fine work done by Fernando's artists. I have many of his figures and they are excellently painted. If this is a "cheap trick" and just an ad, other painters should submit their work and let the TMP readers decide for themselves about quality. I like to see samples of other commercial artist's work but, who will want to put their work on display if they are attacked. I hope Fernando answers the critics by posting more images of this quality painting project. |

Sfumatoabacus I think the point the suggestion is that on "forums" it's more the "done thing" for customers to spuke the praise for a service provider than the actual service provider themselves. I don't care either way, (but it is just self promotion). After all, FE is hardly going to post saying, "Check out this crap work" and then post pictures of some figures that look as if they were painted by some half blind 99 year old with a paint roller, are they,.. Cheers |

BTW, I'm doing a comparison of Painting Service Providers at my BLOG. trailape.blogspot.com FE is one of them. Cheers |

I'm non-plussed/not impressed by Fernando's service's quality. That's why my money stays at home and I paint my own collections. |
