Do you have a favorite website that parodies 40K?

Gecoren26 Sep 2008 6:50 a.m. PST

PapaSync26 Sep 2008 6:57 a.m. PST

Here's a recent one…

tsoalr.com/?p=681

I can't drink coffee and read it at the same time… its bad for my monitor.

wolvermonkey26 Sep 2008 7:36 a.m. PST

Cool site. Thanks for the link.

Atomic Floozy26 Sep 2008 7:49 a.m. PST

Has to be Turnsignals. Even though I haven't played 40K in years, the strips crack me up.

Vicshere26 Sep 2008 7:57 a.m. PST

TSOALR.

I can't nominate it for the "best" one, but here's one I did back around 1998:

That one comic strip that GW legal had removed.

Love Can Bloom (about a Vindicator assassin and an Eldar Farseer)

Also, Michael Poe's (Exploitation Now, Errant Story) Warhammer gags were great…

Does anybody recall some really bizarre and crude plasticine-like 40k conversions (some even looked like Mr. Bill) posted to one of the forums? Saw these once and thought it was hilarious.

How about short fiction? This 40K vs. Stargrunt! piece came off the GZG listserv years ago. Here, link , it's been dressed up and put on the web for posterity. The following line always cracked me up.

"Christ," whispered Pugh, "It looks like someone slapped a set of treads onto a dumpster!"

DColtman, those figs are in a thread here:

That was truly well done.

"4chan? In MY TMP?"

Kilkrazy26 Sep 2008 1:46 p.m. PST

Another vote for TSOALR.

It's not just about 40K, its about gamers and gaming.

I love that piece -- you know, I wrote a response to that from the Marine side -- I wonder if I can dig that up…
