I set up an account on Bartertown (GamingAddict51)a while back so I could advertise that I was looking for some old second edition warhammer stuff (thats the edition my friends prefer to play). I got a new laptop last week so the cookie tht held my password is now gone and I have apparently forgotten what it was (as demonstrated by my many failed login attempts). The problem is I only have one email account and the send me my password option doesn't seem to work and bartertown won't let me create another account with that email account. This is paticularly annoying since I was negotiating with a couple of folks for some sustained fire dice and a 2nd edition Wargear book. I am sure they are puzzled why I suddenly stopped talking to them. I guess I could go get a gmail account or something but I doubt I would remember to check that account or remember it was there in a relatively short period of time. *sigh*

Do the google mail thing with a new gmail account. Once the new Bartertown account is set up, change the Bartertown preferences to point to your old email account. Then either delete or just abandon the gmail account.

or just set the gmail account to feed to your normal account?

You could try e-mailing one of the moderators to see if they can help you out. They can probably send you the PW or reset it or something.

Contact a moderator. Don't set up another account, regardless of reason.
