Some picks on the blog of some recently completed 28mm commissioned work using GWMs and Renegades. Enjoy! I apologise but I'm having trouble taking photos indoors…I do me best but everythinig looks as if I've put it under two searchlights! Ho hum.

Have you tried a diffuser? even just a sheet of greaseproof paper will work.

Very inspirational. Thanks for the pics!

Nice paintjob, now I want some WWI figs.

Ta fred12df, I'll give that a try. I use two 40W daylight bulbs in two anglepoise lamps and no flash, I do the white balance thing and set the digicam with a small appature and a long exposure to get depth of field (good heavens…I almost sound as if I actually understand what I'm talking about) and it still comes out too bright. Of course it could be time to upgrade the digicam to that Digital Canon EOS I have been secretly yearning for.

"Oh Honey Sweetness," smarms Atkins The Financially Incontinent to Atkins (Mrs.) Keeper of the Purse and Creditcard. "All my chums on TMP tell me that you must purchase the a new Digicam for my exclusive use. They say so. It must be true."

Thanks all!

I saw a good link the other day about taking a cardboard box, cutting away most of each side -- just leaving a frame, and covering the gaps/windows with greaseproof paper. To make a light box.

I have used a really simple version, of a white hanky (handkerchief) draped over 4 vallejo paint pots. link though this is mainly for 10mms, so you can get away with something smaller.

Now that is clever! Like it. Will have to go and buy some white hankies as all mine are different colours…that is different coloured cotton…nt becuase they are not clean!

Glad you clarified that the hankies are different colour by design… It was giving a rather unpleasant image for a minute :-)
