Today nine students from my school's club met and fought two WAB battles. You can read battle reports on my blog: link

So, are we going to see these young gentlemen at Tactical Solutions?

Your Romans making an appearance?

Very nice Scott;

Tell the kids that they did a great job painting.

I've invited them all to attend TS, but none have committed yet. You'll see my republican Romans in my WAB game on Sunday!

Jeez Loweez, why couldn't I have a cool teacher like you who was into historical wargaming when I was in school? The Chess Club does not even come close! Nice looking battle, and I second the compliments to the kids on their painting…

Nice report and liked seeing the younger kids exposed to historical gaming. My 14 year old has been gaming with historicals since he was 8. He recently painted up a Brigade of Yankees for a Piquet Field of Battle game I was running. He then painted up artillery and command for them. Cavalry are next after the next Brigade. I give him plastic figs to work on. He has Ancients, Naps, Awi and WWII on his table. His younger brother is now 8 and doesn't show as much interest. It would be awesome if he had gaming avaialble in school. Of course after his football season.

Thanks,

John

Excellent job, and hats off to you for sponsoring the club. It looks like you have their interest, and the figures look really good, I encourage them to keep painting!

I plan to do something simular with the 6th graders I teach but with a simpler system than WAB. Hats off to you for doing this!!
