Passing along this note from long-time gamer and TMP'er Chuck Duggie: Hi all; Chuck Duggie here. I've been out of touch 3 months. I'm in long term convalescent care. I'm using the hospital PC. I have an inoperable bone spur growing in a vertebrae, cutting nerves. My M.D. says I'm headed toward being a quadrapelagic. Currently I can walk 20' and hand usage is limited. Good Gaming |

I don't remember Chuck at all from posts here, but that doesn't stop me from feeling horrible for him. My best wishes to you, Chuck! It's hard to believe that there are still that many things that are inoperable in this day and age. |

Likewise, I don't think I've seen any posts from Chuck here. In fact a message search came up empty. But, a Google search revealed this (scroll to the bottom): TMP link Now, I'm concerned that I do know him through a mutual friend. Gaffney had said that our friend "Duggie" hasn't been doing well, and the locations are matching up

Many will know Chuck as "Minadmiral" (as Wyatt found) on many lists and groups, or as the Elephantmeister. The Elephantmeister was the original WAB list bestower of "-meister" titles, such as that of John the OFM. Chuck and his lady have experienced a long series of healthproblems, and this latest is very sad news. Our thoughts are with you, E-meister. Allen |

My prayers are with you Chuck. He has been a fixture on naval gaming groups such as Wooden Walls seemingly forever and is a great contributor. |

That's too bad. I enjoy his posts. |

Now that I have more time to post, I would like to add that I recall Chuck from way back when on the WABlist, when he granted -meister titles and posted about Tibetans and various other topics, as well as about his and his lady's health and other issues. Hang in there, Elephantmeister! |

Sad news indeed – thinking of you, Chuck. |

I don't know the fellow but this is truelly tragic. I don't know what else to say. |

Turns out that I do know him personally – off and on for the past 20 years. Despite that, I've completely missed him online. Small, strange, world. I may be going down to San Diego to help move his furniture. Wyatt |

Dammit! I've chatted Chuck on and off for years. I knew he had health problems and would be absent from net communications for longer and longer stretches. This truly sucks. God Bless and Keep you brother Chuck. I'm praying that the docs are wrong on this one and hope you've gotten a second opinion. |

I miss Chuck, he was one of the few people on WABlist who had time for peeps like me. Anyone who speaks to him, give him my regards. Pat Stoddart |

I know Chuck! Haven't spoken to him in years. Sorry to hear of your illness. Tell him hello from Hank Esslinger. I remember his lady as always being fragile but very fiesty. He introduced me to Fist Full of Miniatures about 20 years ago. |
