Hi Friends,
I'm thinking to paint Parthians in 28mm, so, please can you tell me where can I find good pictures of Parthians (for inspiraction) in 28mm painted…and based for games?

Thanks for help.

Osprey's "Rome's Enemies 3" has some good pictures in it.

They are painted, but not based for games or in 28mm. :)

Check Essex website. Also you can get pictures of well painted Old Glory Parthians in one of their magazines.

That's a list I made up for a student who is painting a 28mm Parthian army. They're not all 28mm, of course, and many aren't even miniatures.

£1.40 GBP a cavalry figure!
The horse archers are ace- the cataphracts need some work on the riders groins(!)
ditto Newline -which should be very compatable.
Who else does camel cats

Fred Bloggs gave a provided a nice link. In some of the pics it shows some of the cataphracts with bows. I spoke with an archaeologists who has been studying the Parthians and he stated some of the cataphracts would have been armed with bows.
