Hi Friends, I'm thinking to paint Parthians in 28mm, so, please can you tell me where can I find good pictures of Parthians (for inspiraction) in 28mm painted
and based for games? Thanks for help. |

Osprey's "Rome's Enemies 3" has some good pictures in it. |

They are painted, but not based for games or in 28mm. :) |

Check Essex website. Also you can get pictures of well painted Old Glory Parthians in one of their magazines. |

That's a list I made up for a student who is painting a 28mm Parthian army. They're not all 28mm, of course, and many aren't even miniatures. |

I was just thinking of starting a Parthian army in big base DBA -what a bonus. Magister Militum some very good deals in 28mm. link £1.40 GBP a cavalry figure! The horse archers are ace- the cataphracts need some work on the riders groins(!) ditto Newline -which should be very compatable. Who else does camel cats |

Fred Bloggs gave a provided a nice link. In some of the pics it shows some of the cataphracts with bows. I spoke with an archaeologists who has been studying the Parthians and he stated some of the cataphracts would have been armed with bows. C |
