Just toying (!) with the idea of doing small scale Korean War skirmishes. Anyone have any information on who might make 25-28mm Chinese and North Koreans for the Korean War? Anyone make figures that I could easily convert?

Lowtardog07 Sep 2008 4:51 p.m. PST

1st Corps sells chinese

1st Corps sells a few figures for this… i was actually looking at them last night. I am glad they dont have a bigger range, as it was very tempting: 1stcorps.co.uk/KoreanWar.htm

Viper Dan, use the following;

1st Corps-Chinese and British

US-nearly any 28 ww2 line is acceptable, but if you really want greatcoats-Artizan

USMC-1st Corp, TAG and Brigade match up nicely

Australians-Brigade Aussies in the Pacific, then paint the trousers and tunics battledress colour instead of jungle green

Belgians-buy brittish ww2 paratroopers in berets

North Koreans-Mongrel Afghan Army, exacto off any mustaches and then cut the mags on the AKs down to a snub to look like an SKS.

Canadians-get 1st Corps ww2 Brittish infantry, decapitate, use WW separate head systems for germans in feldmuzt, file the peak of the cap flap and put on Brittish bodies.

Except for the Belgians, I've done all these myself so far. they work pretty well.

,,,and the 1st Corps pictures are correct, the Korean war British should be painted in green tunics and trousers.

Force of Arms does a Korean War Centurion in 1/56.

Corgi did a painted die-cast 1/50 North Korean T34/85.
