I am REAL tired of finding American Spitfires in my local Wal-Mart. |

At least your Walmart has planes. Sadly, mine do not. |

By the way, what sort of Spits are they? Any gray and green ones, or Pacific Theater planes? If so, maybe we can work out a trade, if you need some other planes. Best regards,
Rob |

Ah, American
Spits. Missed that little word last go round. You would think they would prefer to market the more numerous types first. Someone in the marketing department is screwing up. Granted, the selling the rare ones first sounds like a good idea, but it people don't buy them, then that puts the whole plan at risk. |

These American Spitfires – I presume they are 8th airforce, flying out of Duxford ? |

No, the 21st Century American Spitfires are in light brown/dark brown North African cammo. The USAAF operated a couple of fighter groups in Spitfires during the North African campaign. And the marketing geniuses at 21st Century put this model in a twin-pack with an Me-262. Go figure. But the problem is that some stores got too many cases of this stock and can't clear out the last of them so they hang on, month after month. |

I'm a bit tired of Zero's and Atlantic scheme SBD's at my TRU. I'm hoping that they will re-release the FW and P-51. I'd like to see a Bf-109E and Hurricane. I can always cut off the cannon and change the prop on the Spit. |

Count your blessings. I've had PINK spitfires at my TRU for 6 months, now. Stacks of them. You know – the ones that 10 year-old boys all over America just can't wait to snatch up, as an impulse buy. "Look, Mom – a pretty pink warplane!" |

Walmart just restocked
en masse! Wow, I looked at that shelf and just thought I hit the motherload. THey must have almost 30 kits there in 1/144 (dbl packs) with the P-47's, american spits, pacific spits, European spits, and afrika spits. Each came with either the Ki-84 or Fw 190. No singles. Let me know if you still needed any. -Troy addn: also, they must have had over 40 boxes of the 1/48 tanks
Cz 38T, Marders
etc
