When there is an interesting news item that generates a lot of conversation -- I typically bookmark it so that I can find it again as after a few days it disappears from the News Talk list on the main page and to find it you need to go to the Hobby News section, find the relevant article, and then click on the "Talk" part. Is there any way to have an actual board called Hobby News Talk where these conversations are cross-posted so that you could just go to the whole list of conversations and see which ones (even ones from many months ago) are still having conversations going? Thanks, Tony |

There would be something to be said though for having old news articles more readily available in the archives. Sometimes there is a very valuable piece of info in those threads, especially when the manufacturer comes in and says something, but then they are more or less lost to the ether (unless your REAL patient or know a better way to search the archives than I do). This is different suggestion from organizing posts on another board into sub threads. |

If the # of boards is an issue -- I'd be happy just having a link on the homepage to get to this. It would just help if the News Talk was in the same format as a board as a list -- so you can see which news has been responded to most recently at the top. |

There is the hobby news talk board. We don't need a more boards (lovely) but what we do need, in my opinion, is the ability to sort/list news items in much the same way as discussion topics (by last post to the related news talk item or as they are currently listed, by date of posting of the article) and searches. -- Tim |

Hi Ditto Bird -- do you have a link to the Hobby News Talk board? |

Just click on the Hobby News link (the header on top of the news for the day): TMP link It's just the headlines – related to what I said, it would be great if Bill could have: -> a 4th column for "last comment" -> the sort by buttons on the left in any discussion board listing, with probably an additional one for "sort by headline date" being the default sort button (sort by last post is the default button for normal discussion boards) -> something similar to the four buttons at the top of the topic list. -- Tim |

Is there any way to have an actual board called Hobby News Talk where these conversations are cross-posted so that you could just go to the whole list of conversations and see which ones (even ones from many months ago) are still having conversations going? I think so. Technically, the News Talk section is its own forum, with everything on one board (the only board on that forum). I'll move this topic over to the Features Request area

It would be great to have this Bill -- as so much of the content and discussion on this site actually happens on those pages! |

Any luck with this Bill – I keep going back to old News items and finding conversations that are interesting, but that I forgot to follow because they had already fallen off the homepage. It would be great to have all the news talk treated like a regular forum with the most recent responses rising to the top. Thanks, T |

Maybe if we ever get a new TMP you can have a news board you can follow easier. That might take awhile to see the light of day but you have been waiting for almost 2 years anyway

Come on Bill – how hard can this be? |

Using google with "site:theminiaturespage.com" is extremely effective. I am not sure why Bill doesn't simply include a site search using google on the homepage. Give it a shot guys! |

This would be a cool feature. Some of the conversations on the News Talk threads is pretty good but then it disappears once the news falls off the homepage. |
