These people, allegedly: link

However worth checking, as most of the large 1:100 scale aircraft actually turn out to be 1:200…

GeoffQRF27 Aug 2008 11:57 p.m. PST

There is a 1/144 scale version out there too, which is the 'official. scale for FoW aircraft.

I wouldn't know, we make 1:100 scale versions :-D

Geoff
Ooh, must finish that 1:100 scale B-25…

If that's a postage stamp planes one in Geoff's link (probably, but the picture won't display for me….) then it's not even remotely near 1/100. I'd go with 1/144 where there's at least one plastic kit in production and a number of diecasts.

Dom.

That's why I said to be careful. Some of them say they are 1/100, but they are actually from the 1/100 range, yet are mysteriously 1/200

Go with the model kit in 1/144 if you must have a plane.

Shouldn't you just model the fireball? It'll spend more time on the table than the bomber would.

Fiddlers Green sell a PDF card modelling kit that could be easily scaled to 1:100.

Testors model company made a snap together one in 1/130 scale. It shows up on some online web stores. It's a snap-together model. It is kit number 890004. The retail appears to vary from $11.99 USD to $13.99. Most online stores sell it for cheaper than that. 1/130 scale is a little closer to what you were looking for.

I've got one of the Diecasts – mine came with one of those "Military Aircraft of the World" type part works. A nice model & looks to be roundabout 1/144 – I'll have to check the packaging to see if there's anything more precise.

Any chance of an A26 Geoff?

"Any chance of an A26 Geoff?"

I second that motion.

And you can put me down for six.

It's a B-25, not an Invader

Etranger01 Sep 2008 3:58 p.m. PST

After the B25 Geoff….. ;-)
