I know they are working on the rules but I have figures ready to go. Any ideas for rules to use?

Any of the pulp rules should do for a start-I'm partial to .45 Adventures myself.

I posted some house rules for using chain reaction 2 to the two hour wargames yahoo group. Chain reaction 2 is a free download now and the house rules are free too.

I'm planning on using my own 'Astounding Tales!' myself, since the difference between a 1934 Buick and a 1962 Ferrari is marginal when they are exploding as they crash off a cliff.

you forget the <shameless plug> tag…

Hey Pat, I firmly believe in the shameless plug approach to life. Genius like mine needs recognition, as you'll admit. Obviously.

Did I mention my new book is out shortly??

I bought it several months ago and with the semester over, just had time to read it – Geezers Shut It – captures all of the flavor of the Roger Moore era.

You might modify TRWNN/Street Fight I have some copplestone myself and want to do that. It's perfect for doing stuff from a movie since you can have a super-powered character hold his own against the gun fodder. I am completely sold on those rules as you can probably tell.

OK, I'll bite, what is TRWNN/Street Fight, and where can I find it? Rules With No Name?

We are in the process of preparing our two part scenario "The Spy who got wet" for Rapier in Jacksonville, Florida. Part one entails the Thunderball undersea fight and part two will be something akin to the last scene in You Only Live Twice. We are still up in the air about rules, but we never let our rules get in the way of a good game anyway.

Are you going to use the Goblinstooth rules, Chip?

While watching a Bond-a-thon on U-Verse this afternoon, a question came to mind. Outside of 7TV, is anyone doing spy-genre anymore?

GASLIGHT Works well for pulp games -- and you can then use the same rules for VSF skirmishes and larger battles. (Shameless plug)
