Hi Christopher.

Yes, they are excellent little vessels, with better detailing in many cases than their larger 1/600th – 1/300th scale cousins.

We sell them, and the Action Stations rules too.

If you contact me at the e-mail address below, I can send you a copy of our catalog, along with some closeup photos of the vessels.

Best regards,

Rob

Christopher,

I have over 100 of them. They are great. Like Rob says, they are more detailed than the 1/600 and 1/300 figures. You can also add an air dimension using Tumbling Dice a/c on low stands.

Thank you both:

Top gun a mail is on its way
Cold steel , I rarely resist an opportunity to buy from TD so thanks for the tip.

My regards

AArgh!! Don't bring those up!
I have/had ~$200 worth of those that I picked up at Historicon a few years ago disappear in my move to the new place! (and with inflation over the last few years, that's even more depressing) Though I probably have no-one else to blame but myself – I packed/moved the figure collection…

They were lovely figures as I recall.. sigh

They are very nice. I think they go very well with the 1/600 aircraft out there.

Christopher,

The catalog and photos are on the way.

Finknottle, sorry to hear that. I've had the same thing happen occasionally too. Why not order a few more, and start off with some small engagements, at least until you find the others you bought?

That is very easy to do on a limited budget, since the MTB's and other small craft run about $1.35 USD – $2.00 USD each, or so. Aircraft are about the same, or even less, for the smaller fighters.

For around $30.00, you can have a nice little force to do battle with, for both combatants. We sell some pre-made game packs with fairly evenly balanced forces, for your gaming pleasure.

Combined air/sea games are great fun too. I recommend trying to sink some U-Boats in the Bay of Biscay, during the fight-back order period, where the commanders were told it was better to fight it out on the surface with the long-range patrol planes than submerging. Ju-88's and FW-200's can attempt to provide escort, while various other planes can try to sink them, e.g. Beaufighters, Mosquitoes, Sunderlands, PBY's, Liberators, etc. Beating up a German or British Coastal convoy, or two with aircraft, and MTB's/S-Boats can be great fun too.

There are free rules available on the internet, or you can pick up Action Stations for less than $20.00, not including shipping.

I hope that helps.

Sincerely,

Rob

Would you have a website with this stuff listed, or just the email catalogue?

Top Gun Ace12 Oct 2008 7:08 p.m. PST

Working on a website, but right now, just the e-mail catalog.

It does include 15 pages of Aerial and Coastal Forces products though, not including some separate files with pics of the vessels I can send you, if you like.

The website is finally up and running, with pics of various select vessels and aircraft.

Lots of modern Fast Attack Craft too, e.g. Missile Boats and modern Motor Torpedo Boats.
