Okay as suggested – who are teh 5 best females to appear in a Western? Rather then Living or Dead let's set a new filter – they have to have appeared in 3 or more western themed movies, T.V. shows or radio serials. OKay, whose first to post? Gracias, Glenn |

That's tough criteria. Best what, looking, acting, gun fighting? 3 or more? Eoisodes or different series? I'm drawing a blank. Amanda Blake is all that comes to mind,20+ years of Gunsmoke has to count for something. |

Maureen O'Hara has to number one on the list. In fact I'm struggling to think of anyone else who fits the criteria of 3 or more |

I think Angie Dickinson was in a number of westerns (including Rio Bravo I think) and guest starred in a number of TV western series too. |

Claudia Cardinalle was also in the Professionals, a great often over-looked western. |

Being an idiot, I went and forgot Tantoo Cardinal yesterday. |
Judge Bean | 05 Aug 2008 7:06 a.m. PST |
I don't remember Lilly Langtry ever being in a western movie. If she had been though she'd definitely be on the list. Better strike Marilyn I didn't notice the three movie requirement. Replace her with Linda Crystal, or Amanda Blake. |
Judge Bean | 06 Aug 2008 8:15 a.m. PST |
Well then, leave Marilyn in the list then and expand it for the others. That means my list is the top 7. Maureen O'Hara still deserves the top three slots. |
mmitchell | 06 Aug 2008 9:54 p.m. PST |
Ditto on Maureen. And I've always liked Reba McEntire. |
