I don't mean "in which film was his acting the worst." Nor "in which film was his character the worst." I mean, overall, what is the worst movie in which Sir Sean had a role? Zardoz springs to mind, as does The Avengers, Never Say Never Again, Highlander II

Highlander 2. At least in Zardoz we had a buff young body to look at. That Indiana Jones movie was pretty bad, too. |

League of Extrordanary Gentlemen
nuff said. As for Highlander 2 that movie was never made, I rufuese to belive it existed. |
Daffy Doug | 01 Aug 2008 3:14 p.m. PST |
Oh come ON! The Extraordinarily Silly League of Extraordinarily Silly Gentlepersons. |
Daffy Doug | 01 Aug 2008 3:15 p.m. PST |
And you beat me to it by less than one minute! |
Farstar | 01 Aug 2008 3:39 p.m. PST |
"League of Extrordanary Gentlemen" If that's the worst you can come up with in 89 movies (per IMDB), you are truly sheltered. |
Randall | 01 Aug 2008 3:42 p.m. PST |
Bite yer tongue, Lord Billington Wadsworth! Darby O'Gill and the Little People is a fine film: singing, dancing, leprechauns, the banshee (scary!) and the cóiste-bodhar (even scarier!). I laughed, I cried, I was terrified (in all the right places!). Now, The Gnome-Mobile, well, that was horrible. But Sean wasn't in it. |

"First Knight" biggest piece of pish I have ever seen. |

Meteor. Believe me, it's MUCH WORSE then First Knight. |

Zardoz isn't that bad a movie. There are plenty much worse than that! Anything with the Wayan bros, for example. |
anleiher | 01 Aug 2008 5:28 p.m. PST |
Sean has never made a bad movie
now his doppelganger on the other hand.. |

I never liked Marnie. I think it's only fair to start counting from Dr. No to the present. Meteror and FK rank down there too. |
Spectacle | 01 Aug 2008 8:02 p.m. PST |
Definitely Highlander 2. One of the very worst movies ever made
|
Frankss | 01 Aug 2008 8:12 p.m. PST |
I didn't like him in The Longest Day. |
Rogzombie | 01 Aug 2008 8:52 p.m. PST |
Meteor. Horrible early 80s I think. I still recall the horrible look he made when leaning out of the cab. |

I'd have to vote for The Avengers. There are at least brief moments that I can find "mildly entertaining" in the other movies mentioned, even Highlander 2 – Search For A Plot, but I can find none in The Avengers. One would thinnk the film could be redeeemed by Uma in a catsuit, but it was the the least attractive role I've ever seen her in. Dull and lifeless. Martin |

Zardoz. 'nuf said on the topic. |

Oh gosh, the Avengers. I have forgotten that dead, rotting dog. A movie so bad they did not did none of the stars show up at the launch event, but the producers decided not to show the movie at said event. Wise choice. Unfortunately it was shown subsequently. |
RubberRonnie | 01 Aug 2008 11:28 p.m. PST |
The Rock. Awful film. Neither Connery or Cage can act. |

Yeah Highlander 2 was a big steaming pile of p*&p. Zardoz was just completely outlandish. I haven't seen The Avengers nor do I want to. But I completely loathe League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. They took a great graphic novel and completely tossed it down the c%@*%! Connery was so disgusted with it he swore he'd never act again and he's been true to his word. For that reason I hate LXG with every fiber of my being. Bruce the Texas Grognard |

I love in LXG where a steampunk submarine the size of an fleet carrier went zipping up the canals of Venice. And made the turns! To the best of my recollection, I have never sat through a movie as repusively stupid as that. |
Shagnasty | 02 Aug 2008 9:34 a.m. PST |
I gotta go with LXG as well. Sean was the only thing in it of any worth and he was embarassed. |
raylev3 | 03 Aug 2008 1:31 p.m. PST |
I have to admit that I fell asleep during The Avengers, and I'm a serious Avengers fan
I, at least, stayed awake during Zardoz

Let see, lots of choices for this question, and I would have to say the top three in my option would be Zardoz, Avengers, My third choice (I not sure if it counts, since he was not the main star) "time Bandits" |
Lovejoy | 04 Aug 2008 3:28 a.m. PST |
Worst film – gotta be either 'Medicine man' or 'A good man in Africa' – both utterly dire. Most disapointing – Highlander 2. I was ready to end it all after watching that

Never say never
was much better than whatever the most recent "official" bond film had been Never seen the avengers, but oh yes highlander 2 stank, and so did First Knight – dreadful dreadful dreadful Zardoz, however, rocks (or, as the americans amongst us might say, rawks) |
J Womack 94 | 07 Aug 2008 7:28 a.m. PST |
Oh, I had forgotten about Medicine man. Truly a forgettable film. I quite liked Time Bandits, but then, I was only about ten when it came out so
I liked LXG for what it was: seriously silly nonsense to fill an afternoon. Never seen Meteor nor First Knight (I hate Richard "Gerbil-man" Gere), so I can't comment on either of those. |
