Whose posts are consistently the funniest (when humor is intended, that is
)? |
Connard Sage | 22 Jul 2008 2:20 p.m. PST |
|
Jerzei Balowski | 22 Jul 2008 2:23 p.m. PST |
|
nycjadie | 22 Jul 2008 2:59 p.m. PST |

John the OFM | 22 Jul 2008 3:01 p.m. PST |
|
mweaver | 22 Jul 2008 3:18 p.m. PST |
Or both, simultaneously? Wyatt has the most consistently fun (and, appropriately, odd) links, although Mrs. Pumblechook is coming up fast on the inside track. |
Big Red | 22 Jul 2008 3:22 p.m. PST |
Inside or outside the Dawghouse? |
Farstar | 22 Jul 2008 3:32 p.m. PST |
"Funny ha ha?" "Or funny strange?" Please tell me that predates the Mad Scientist episode of Gilligan's Island
"I raised Igor from a little baby." "Uh, a little baby *what*?" |
Doc Perverticus | 22 Jul 2008 4:12 p.m. PST |
( * thumbing through my script * )
..um
.is this the part where my pants fall down to reveal my ridiculously pale hairy legs, or is this where I wallop Bill with 17 custard pies in a row?? And where is my Stunt double?? I have a contract y'know!! |
Jeigheff | 22 Jul 2008 4:13 p.m. PST |
Combatpainter has made me laugh a couple times. A while back, he posted a topic about wanting to model flames coming out of a WWII flamethrower. Some people didn't like his comments, but his original post, and his responses, struck me as funny, for some reason I cannot explain. |
Editor in Chief Bill | 22 Jul 2008 4:28 p.m. PST |
Larry Dunn gets a good quip every now and then. |
the Gorb | 22 Jul 2008 5:02 p.m. PST |

"You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little *&$! up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to %&*#!' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?" |
nycjadie | 22 Jul 2008 5:11 p.m. PST |
There's a few regular posters on the defunct CA board that made me consistently laugh. I'm not sure that's what they were going for. I vote Allen and OFM for their wit. |
Space Monkey | 22 Jul 2008 5:33 p.m. PST |
"I vote Allen and OFM for their wit." Ditto
It's hard to make me laugh but the OFM has gotten hysterical laughter out of me on more than one occasion. |
Allen57 | 22 Jul 2008 6:03 p.m. PST |
Me!, but only because I find myself funny. Nobody else does that I am anware of. |
Neotacha | 22 Jul 2008 6:21 p.m. PST |
Wyatt the Odd, Mrs. Pumblechook, OFM and aecurtis. |
cfuzwuz | 22 Jul 2008 7:08 p.m. PST |
DeanMoto- that was funny! |
cfuzwuz | 22 Jul 2008 7:14 p.m. PST |
Wyatt the Odd. I always find the OFM's amusing. I like the Miami guy. I can't think of his name right now as I think he got mad( cause Miami was on everyones list of teams they hate) and hasn't posted for a while. |
Neotacha | 22 Jul 2008 7:45 p.m. PST |
Are you thinking of Smokeyroan, cfuzwuz? He's still around, just quieter than usual. He posted Sunday, anyway. Maybe he's busy at work? |
aecurtis | 22 Jul 2008 8:43 p.m. PST |
"I vote Allen and OFM for their wit." Yes, together we make one wit. I'm one half; John is the other. Allen |
DeanMoto | 22 Jul 2008 8:58 p.m. PST |
Allen: Heeheehee – cool! As usual. v/r, Dean |
Topkick890 | 22 Jul 2008 10:18 p.m. PST |
Gotta be Alex hands down. His "Tales from the Bar" ought to be picked up as a comedy series. |
cfuzwuz | 22 Jul 2008 10:46 p.m. PST |
Neotacha – yeah, it was Smokey I was thinking of. I must be getting senile. He always seems good natured in his posts. |
Col Scott 2 | 23 Jul 2008 1:16 a.m. PST |
I would also vote for the twins (Allen and OFM), however Murphy and his tales from work regularly leave coffee on my desk. My children think that I think I am funny, my wife feels that it is rude to laugh at your own jokes. So there you have it. |
Sane Max | 23 Jul 2008 3:21 a.m. PST |
Another vote for Waldorf and Statler, OFM and AEC Pat |
lewis cannon | 23 Jul 2008 7:37 a.m. PST |
What about the outlaw, Mexican Jack Squint? |
streetline | 23 Jul 2008 7:51 a.m. PST |
Another vote for Waldorf and Statler, OFM and AEC Summed up in so many ways! Agreed, also Sane Max and Nazrat make me laugh sometimes. |
Streitax | 23 Jul 2008 9:05 a.m. PST |
Mexican Jack doesn't like publicity. Makes his smuggling business more risky than it already is. Statler and Waldorf are amusing to watch when they are up in the balcony going at each other, but Murphy and Alex are the Seinfelds of TMP, real life humor. |
shaun from s and s models | 23 Jul 2008 9:19 a.m. PST |
i think it depends where you are coming from, us english types, have a very different sense of humour compare to johhny foreigner, even regional uk humour varies. i find some things not funny at all, especialy these new comedy films. |
streetline | 23 Jul 2008 3:38 p.m. PST |
especialy these new comedy films You get them in Zomerset? ;-) |
cfuzwuz | 23 Jul 2008 4:03 p.m. PST |
Yeah, Smokey told a real funny girlfriend joke in the lounge. He says he has been in Chicago. I still think he was pouting because his Hurricanes get no respect. Anyway, it's good to see him back. |
John the OFM | 23 Jul 2008 5:33 p.m. PST |
"I vote Allen and OFM for their wit."Yes, together we make one wit. I'm one half; John is the other. Allen
Yes, but which half? And, which one is Statler again? link |
Saginaw | 23 Jul 2008 10:03 p.m. PST |
And, which one is Statler again? The one on the right. By the way, does the funniest TMPer win a prize or something? Just wonderin'. |
Palafox | 24 Jul 2008 4:13 a.m. PST |
Speaking about people trying to be fun the most fun I've had was with Sam Mustafa at the new defunct CA, I still remember his histories at the CA Café or some other ironic and very funny comments there. Also Scurvy was great several times when discussing with someone, a lot of irony and sense of humor. |
Streitax | 24 Jul 2008 8:54 a.m. PST |
AWAY WITH YOU SCOUNDREL! There is not now, nor has there ever been, a CA board on TMP. To mention such a mythical creature in these hallowed halls is to invite the flame death! |
iouliared | 26 Jul 2008 5:51 a.m. PST |
Whoever came up with the idea of a "Jane Austin Mobile Command Center" as a toy, OFM I believe? |
