I know.

Several Inca things happened to me this week, including a very large Foundry Inca order and the fact that I caught the end of "NOVA: The Great Inca Rebellion", something I had been waiting for for a very long time.

Plus, I came across that awesome photo of the Machu Pichu museum terrain table.

He sure wasn't on the side of the Inca.

huevans17 Jul 2008 1:53 p.m. PST

Don't we need Early Inca, a Middle Period Inca and a Late Period Inca boards?? Why stop at just one? Or three, for that matter?

fairoaks02417 Jul 2008 2:10 p.m. PST

inca scale boards perhaps?

I've never understood the "too many boards" complaint. You can select the ones you want and skip all the rest.

"We Need a New Inca Forum."

No, we don't.

Griefbringer18 Jul 2008 1:16 a.m. PST

What about Aztecs? It would be unfair for the Incas to be the only native Americans to get their own board!

no love for the maya?

How about splitting into 15mm Inca, 25mm Inca and 28mm Inca?

kreoseus218 Jul 2008 5:15 a.m. PST

olmecs only please, in 12mm

The Gray Ghost18 Jul 2008 8:31 a.m. PST

This might sound kinda crazy but how about if someone posts a topic about Incas they put the word Inca in the title.
That way people who have no interest in Inca wouldn't wander in by accident.

No new board without combining three older ones…

Lowtardog24 Jul 2008 5:42 a.m. PST

bit touchy there Rich ;0)

Rich Knapton24 Jul 2008 11:58 a.m. PST

Lowtardog, I remember the good old day when I was proving the pike ruled the infantry, when I was proving the pike was an individual weapon, when I was proving arquebuses didn't have the power everyone thought, when I was proving cavalry could and would charge pikes and win. Ah, those were the days.

Now what to we have?: a bunch of heathens running around with bones in their noses, chicken feathers in their hair or whatever. This just goes to show what happens you mix the purity of renaissance warfare with heathens. It just isn't right. Let them have their own forum and put back the purity that was our forum.

Fair point Rich and very eloquently put

Excellent historical analysis of non-European Renaissance warfare Rich. I think I'll just melt all my Inca models…..don't want to mess with purity!

Or you could always follow The Gray Ghost's advice.

OK Ralph, I'll bite. What was the Grey Ghost's advice.

Rich

Lowtardog28 Jul 2008 2:55 a.m. PST

Put Inca in the title so then you will know what the post is about

crhkrebs29 Jul 2008 7:53 a.m. PST

It's the July 18th post, Rich. Check out the second sentence. Since CC DID put the word "Inca" in every title, it makes it easy for those like Rich to avoid the thread. Simple.

I think we've exhausted this thread. I have to run now and glue chicken feathers up the "whatevers" of my Maya. We can discuss the Maya on this board, can we not?

I've never understood the "too many boards" complaint. You can select the ones you want and skip all the rest.

Yet another person who doesn't read anything except what's on the front page and doesn't realize that most people are too lazy to look up the most appropriate board for their posts.

We had a recent WWII kufuffle where people told me I was this and that for suggesting we stick to as generic as possible. Yet, even now, the WWII boards have misposts everywhere – it's ridiculous.
