That is a really swell blog site. Thanks for sharing that with us, Scott.

Thanks for the link. I've been considering ACW in 54mm

Saves a lot of time painting!!!

Yeas – that was nice but how can he resist the temptation to just do some basic paint jobs?

Looks like great fun. The guys had a "Brother versus Brother" skirmish game a few weeks back using 54 mm figures, albeit with basic paint jobs – went very well, fast moving and loads of fun

That's just swell. Thanks for passing on the link. Outdoor gaming and don't bother with the painted minis. Save money and time and headache. (other Doug: your "g" is dangling, you might want to watch out for that)

After years and years of painting about a million castings in several scales, this site makes me wonder why I ever bothered. Looks like pure fun to me!

Yes, Mannie's site takes me back to my youthful days of playing with army men under my Dad's apple trees. I would construct roads, hills, "rivers," and terrain, and then march my collection of 600-700 54mm figures into battle. Mannie has simply escalated that to a new level (but in reality, isn't that what all we wargamers are doing anyway – taking our childhoog memories to a higher level, and throwing in that competitive urge?).
