That is a really swell blog site. Thanks for sharing that with us, Scott. |

Thanks for the link. I've been considering ACW in 54mm |

Yeas – that was nice but how can he resist the temptation to just do some basic paint jobs? Dou g |

Looks like great fun. The guys had a "Brother versus Brother" skirmish game a few weeks back using 54 mm figures, albeit with basic paint jobs – went very well, fast moving and loads of fun |

That's just swell. Thanks for passing on the link. Outdoor gaming and don't bother with the painted minis. Save money and time and headache. (other Doug: your "g" is dangling, you might want to watch out for that) |

After years and years of painting about a million castings in several scales, this site makes me wonder why I ever bothered. Looks like pure fun to me! |

Yes, Mannie's site takes me back to my youthful days of playing with army men under my Dad's apple trees. I would construct roads, hills, "rivers," and terrain, and then march my collection of 600-700 54mm figures into battle. Mannie has simply escalated that to a new level (but in reality, isn't that what all we wargamers are doing anyway – taking our childhoog memories to a higher level, and throwing in that competitive urge?). |
