Itīs a weblog, but it has easy navigation. Just a few galleries are missing, and I have my first article :)

Interesting article – hmmm, I got a deal off eBay too, and have major portions of the Japanese navy that I haven't painted yet…

In retrospect, would it have been easier to paint the ship before attaching some of the components?

Good blog. I will be a regular visitor.

Editor, I donīt think so. The deck was painted first with lights and inks and after that it was just a matter of being careful when painting the rest of the ship.

I think you could paint the deck before assembling the rest of it but the instant glue I use, although is very… mm… liquid, and therefore leaves no texture, it would stain the paint. I would have to retouch almost all of the deck again one the thing is assembled.

Rat of tobruk, thanks. Itīs more a site than a blog. Maybe weeks go by without an update, but updates are heavy.

Nice to see the 20mm Germans I traded you. It's an honour to see them in your blog!

Looks like a nice blog, but I have a question on the Scharnhorst ship issue. If I am correct, (which I may NOT be), but I think the Arado floatplanes on the ships were painted a dark green and not red…

eldogui14 Jul 2008 7:06 p.m. PST

Beowulf, I have photographed but also gamed with the germans you traded me. Too bad they have Larry Leadhead for a commander (thatīs me)

Murphy, the pic must be distortioning the colors. I painted the plane a brownish dark green.

I've got doubts about that finger. Are you sure its the right shade of pink flesh?
Also the finger prints look a little too heavily high lighted to me.
