Title says it all – Bay Area Yards lists 1/2400 pre-made bases for WWII ships. Has anyone ever seen them, or used them?

Thanks in advance.

Not me personally, but BAY is in the process of moving shop so Steve may not be real responsive for a while.

I just use bases from Litko.

I can also just cut my own, from some excess Lexan I have.

But, the Bay bases seem as if they are "wave" textured.

The finished ones are on Litko bases w/ acrylic gel medium for texture.

Jmrino, fantastic work. How did you print the side labels, it really looks terrific.

@ podette: Thanks!

I use an Excel spreadsheet. I outline 5 cells, merge the middle 3, set the row height to 10 and the font size to 8. Then print them out on resume paper (a little sturdier than plain white/copy paper), trim with scissors/hobby knife and glue stick to the edge. I get 30 ships per page (60 labels), and use a different font for each navy.
