We're (thankfully) pretty spoiled in this hobby, where great service from retailers and manufacturers seems to be the norm. That being said, someone recently went way "above and beyond" for me, so I feel it's only right for me to give recognition.

A few weeks ago I was puttering about on ebay looking for some buildings when I ran across a seller known as Sentinel Scenery. I sent him an email asking a question or two about his buildings, and Galen responded promptly, asking what exactly was I looking for. A few more emails along, he said he would build something (he scratch builds them I gather) that should fit my needs, and wouldn't accept any payment until I had them and was satisfied with the result. Amazing considering he didn't know me, and he's in the U.K., with me in Calif., U.S.A.

Talk about satisfied!!! The buildings are great, and the Pele Tower he made for me is the most stunning, beautiful piece of table top scenery I've ever laid eyes on in 30 years in this hobby. So beautiful it'll make you weep. So beautiful that I'm trying to think of more buildings I could use just so I can get more of his wonderful creations.

No, I'm not a sock puppet, just very pleased with his products and his friendliness and way of doing business. And even though you haven't seen this Pele Tower, you're all (unknowingly of course) jealous!

So thanks again Galen and cheers!

How about posting a pic of the tower? (hint, hint)

Link! Please! I couldn't find anything through Google or Ebay. Hand over the link with all speed.

California…ha, bet your Pele Tower is not built to code. Even a small earthquake will send it crashing down.

Nice that you like the scenery from Galen. Having the right terrain can really make a game more fun/interesting/visually stimulating.

LOL Condotta – it probably doesn't have the proper smoke detectors and I'm guessing the sewer lines aren't up to code either!

You've hit the nail on the head about the right terrain, and this piece is absolutely terrific. And who ever heard about not taking payment until I had the piece and liked it? Amazing.

Sorry, no pics yet (my photography skills are non-existent), I'll try to get someone to help me with that soon.

Acharnement: Go to ebay, click on "community", search for seller "sentinelscenery" (one word, and without the quotes of course). I just tried it, and it'll take you right to him.
