I am considering picking up some Imrie Risely WWII US Paratrooper mortar and machine gun crew figs.

I am wondering how compatible they would be with the Conte US PARA figs.

I am fleshing out a US PIR platoon and need 3 sets of 30 cal LMG crew and 1 set of 60mm mortar crew.

Anyone seen these first hand or have seen reveiws of such?

Thanks for your help.

You should be able to mix them quite well. The I/R minis, although 40 years old at least, are very nice. I still have some my parents purchased for me back in the 1960s. The Conte's are a bit beefier, but the two lines will mix well. Any slight variation is all to the good. I have never understood why slight variation in size was anathema to some. US paratroopers differed in height and body mass….shouldn't see a problem with your proposal. BTW I/R also makes a nice 57mm AT gun and crew for the same line of figs.
