The hero Amphion favored of Zeus sails to a mysterious island in search of a lost treasure.
Amphion and his three most trusted men set out to explore the coast in the morning.
They returned at dusk only to find all his men turned to stone on the beach!
Amphion enraged vows to revenge against the beast who killed his men!
Now the four Greek heroes stalk the beast at nightfall.
Will they be victorious or end up as stone nightmares?

Our Hero Amphion a man accompanied by champion man Hylas, champion aged man Castor ( who sailed with Jason on the Argo ) and champion young man Idas.
They traveled to the top of the ridge and found a old temple with carved pictures of the old Titans.
Castor sights a strange group of creatures.
They are the Keres in the wind!
Castor warns the group to stay away from them as they are an omen of death.
Someone or something will die here tonight.

Then they saw it, well her.
Medusa herself!
She was ready for them bow in hand.
Amphion enraged charged her using his shield to cover her from his view!
Hylas ran along the tree line hoping to keep the trees between himself and Medusa's arrow's
Castor moved up within range of casting Zeus's lightning bolt.
The young Idas ran along the tree line hoping to flank her and launch his spear into the creature.
Protected by his cloud cloak Idas moved closing fast.

Medusa fired three arrows at the charging Amphion!
The first flew overhead.
The second blasted into his shield and Amphion broke his arm strap loosing it!
Unprotected by his lost shield the third arrow shatters against his armor of Olympus!

Amphion launched his javelin missing medusa then continued to charge without his shield!
Hylas moved into to the right of medusa setting himself up for a charge.
Castor let free his Zeus's lightning bolt, blasting the ground next to medusa with no effect!
Young Idas moved into throwing range of his spear and missed medusa by inches.

Medusa shoots three more arrows!
The first misses Amphion!
The second arrow glances of his armor!
The third fired at Hylas bounces off his shield!

Amphion launches into his savage attack!
Calling upon the spirit of Zeus his blade slices into Medusa's gut!
Red ichor and small snakes poured from the wound.
Hylas caught a glance of Medusa and the merest sight of her sent fear through his body causing him to pause!
Castor pulls his spear and charges into the fight.
The young Idas peers over the ruins to see where the fight is.
Suddenly in his view she catches his sight!
To frightened to look away the young Idas is turned to stone where he stands!!!!

Medusa drops her bow and pulls a short sword.
She spins and slashes right through Hylas's shield shattering it!
The blade then strikes his iron armor and finds his flesh beneath!
Hylas receives a grievous wound and collapses on the ground bleeding.
Medusa swings at Amphoin but he ducks and her swing goes wild!

The wise Castor times his thrust and catches medusa in the ribs!
He buries the tip deep into her flesh!
Amphion slashes his blade harmlessly across her shoulder.
Amphion's rage grows into white hot hate and with a slash quick as Hermes himself he relives medusa of her head and life!
She collapses to the ground and her poison blood pours out into the soil.

Amphion collects her head into a bag.
Castor see's to Hylas's wounds.
He will live but Idas's fate was sealed.
The heroes leave the unholy ground and slip away into the red sunset.

I remember seeing you'd painted up the Medusa a while ago – good to see you getting a game in! How did you find the rules?
