Series covers Khalka River, Kulikovo and two general works on the Muscovite and Mongol armies.

Those look great, better than Osprey! I have a similar book in Polish on Ottoman armies.

I have the last 3, I got mine from On Military Matters – the pics are awesome (the one on Mongol armies is my favorite) but too bad the text is all in Russian – although some of the captions to the pictures has English text.

Uesugi, where did you get your book on Ottoman armies? Thanks!

Uesegi, I'm trying to research the Ottomans in the late 16th and early 17th Centuries and finding not a lot to work from. Would your Polish book be useful to me?

Hard to say. If you read Polish (which I dont), then "yes", it could. From the pictures (which are great) it appears to mainly cover the 14th and 15th centuries.

The author and illustrator are:
Andrzej Michalek
Mehmed Adobywca

The ISBN: 831109691-0

web site: ksiegarnia.bellona.pl

Hope that helps.

Rats! Great pics, but mainly 14 and 15 Centuries! Just my luck.

Actually, the site had a lot of other Polish Renaissance stuff, although maybe not that accessible as they seemed to mainly be textual and I can't do Polish.
