Dean tells me he is looking for "
small, plastic minotaur minatures. Traditional army men quality would be fine, something between .5" and 1" would work as game pieces for a game I have that currently uses cardboard chips." Anyone have any leads? |

Old GW Epic? I'm pretty sure their original Chaos plastics had minotaurs that'd be about 1/2". Dom. |

Age of Mythology game? Or was it the Risk Mythology game? |

Games Workshop Heroquest had them if I remember correctly |

Found these, dunno where they came from originally
still looking: auction |

Kayl, those are the GW/MB "Heroquest" Minotaurs Logopolis mentioned, in 28mm scale and about 2.5 inches tall. The GW Epic Minotaurs are old and OOP, but have little to no use in the current edition of Epic and can sometimes be had for cheap on eBay. They are a bit under a half inch, IIRC. |

Reaper has a minotaur in their Legendary Encounters PPM line. Just bought one myself and am pleased with it. Total height from bottom of it's base to its very top is roughly 1.5 inches. |

In the half-inch category, the GW Epic 40K chaos boxed set (2nd-3rd ed, 97-00'?) came with minotaurs & trolls. Most players I have seen never used them all (as one sprue had all the different minis, there were inevitably ones you ended up with more that you needed). Sorry, I don't have a pic, but they might fit the bill. |

The Age of Mythology Greek sprue would serve the purpose: link While not pictured, each sprue comes with three, which each stand about 1". Each sprue is $3 USD and there is no shipping. I think you can see the minotaur on the AoM entry at Board Game Geek. Jason |

I would suggest battle masters beast men
in fact
I have quite a few I could send you. plus the citadel talisman minotaur. BTW, HeroQuest does not have minotaurs
it's Warhammer Quest that did. |

Mageknight Dungeon had plastic minotaurs. Should be available on Ebay for a scrap. |

Use GW Beastmen. You get what, a dozen or so in a box? 28mm or so tall. |
| Farstar | 11 Jun 2008 12:02 p.m. PST |
Current GW plastic Beastmen come 20 to a box if memory serves. Twelve of the larger Gors and 8 of the smaller Ungors. Aside from lacking the traditional "roid brawn" of the classic Minotaur and often looking a bit more "goaty" than "steer-y", the Gors are a decent match. |

If size is the main concern, how about 15mm minotaurs? |
| La Long Carabine | 24 Jun 2008 12:25 p.m. PST |
link Set has a plastic gladiator dressed as a Minotaur. His helmet is a cow skull. Just bot a box of them cannot wait to get some paint on them. Plastic is part of the issue. Expand to metal and Splintered Light Miniatures has some that are one inch tall. LLC aka Ron |
| Linneman | 04 Dec 2008 9:18 p.m. PST |
Might be too tall, but DnD Minis has had some minotaurs as well. Example: auction Unfortunately, some of the DDM minotaur minis must have been rare and are thus more expensive than would probably be ideal for your use
