Greetings, Does anyone happen to know if d12 with two differently coloured 1-6 series are available from any manufacturer? Or any recommendations where to get custom dice done? Thank you iAugustus |

Knight Templar, 12 sided dice that has numbers from 1 to 6 in one colour and again numbers from 1 to 6 but in another colour. Makes sense now? Looks like eM-4 only does d6 with custom markings. No good for me. |

Dunno about a double d6, but a triple d4 is available, and is the best d4 I own. I bought it from Chessex. |

I can see where you are going with this iAugustus – the d12 would be capable of rolling only numbers 1-6, but the color variation would indicate something else in terms of the game effect. I don't know of a manufacturer who does it. Conversely, you could roll two d6 and get one of the D6 customized to only have a two colors say Red and Blue on three sides. I have dice like that from an old naval game we used to play. Chessex may be able to do them for you as a special order? |

Roll 2 D6s of different colours. One gives you the number (1-6), the other gives you the colour, odd for one colour, even for the other. |

Now obviously you can achieve the result by rolling two dice. But having to roll two dice is exactly what I want to avoid. Imagine a situation when you have, say for argument's sake, take 4 rolls. You could pick two dice and roll them four times, or you could pick eight dice taking care it's very clear which are paired together and roll them and look for the pairs or you could simply use 4 identical dice I'm after and roll them once. The most obvious use for such dice is open-ended d6 rolls. Anyways anything that speeds up play is good. I emailed Chessex and asked if they can help. Thanks. |

You could also use a normal D12, but designate 7-12 as the "other color". Or break down odd/even. Do or Dice do custom dice, but I don't know if anyone will make just one. JW |

By blank d12's and mark them yourself, or use those dice that have a small d6 inside a larger clear d6 and similar to what Mike says use one of them to indicate whatever it is that you would like indicated by the color. |

Reread all of the posts and now have a better understanding of what you're after. Still using the normal twelve-sider, 1-6 = one color 7-12 = 1-6 of the other color. The odd/even configuration might make it more complicated than you're looking for. JW |
